The Backcountry Destination Softshell Fleece Hoodie is for days when the sun is shining and the snow on the groomers is packed down but slushy. Like our entire Destination line, this jacket is packed with features designed to help us do what we love while still looking great when we stop by the grocery store on the way home. The softshell outer is made with a PFC-free DWR finish that keeps our baselayers dry when we take a spill in the park and concealed underarm vents let us cool off while we're regrouping in the lift line. A built-in facemask with ear straps provides UPF 50+ sun protection to keep us from getting burnt by the sun or chafed the wind, and the scuba-style hood is easily adjusted when the wind starts blowing in sideways.
